Calendar of Events

March 12: no class (homework assignment though; see below)

March 24: LawGame meeting at 8 p.m.

March 26: Speaker (Jay Adoni, a prominent entrepreneur, or Brett Rochkind, a principal from General Atlantic, a firm founded in 1980, which manages approximately $17 billion, investing between $1 and $2 billion per year in growth opportunities (go to http://www.generalatlantic.com/usa/splash/default.asp).

Homework Assignment

Entrepreneurs & Lawyers:
Watch the Film, Pirates of Silicon Valley. You can view is using Youtube but in segments. For the entrepreneurs, before March 26 submit a list of business issues; for the lawyers, submit a list of legal issues.) An example of a business issue is Steve Jobs raising money/capital; a legal issue is Jobs committing a battery on the workplace.) The list should contain as many issues you can find.

Conferences:

Every Monday night from 8 to 10:30 p.m. in the conference room on the 10th floor, I will be holding offices to answer any question you may have regarding the Start Up Game or LawGame. I strongly urge you to come by.
